Recoil MLOC4 4-Channel Smart Micro Line Output Converter with 60 Ohm Load Support

Product Overview

The Recoil MLOC4 4-Channel Smart Micro Line Output Converter is an advanced integration solution designed specifically for modern vehicles equipped with intelligent factory (OEM) sound systems. Modern factory stereos feature load-sensing diagnostic systems that shut down audio outputs if they detect missing factory speaker resistance. The MLOC4 solves this with integrated 60-Ohm load support, presenting a dummy load to the factory head unit to maintain clean, uninterrupted signal output to your aftermarket amplifiers.

Smart 60-Ohm Load Resistors & Micro Chassis

Housed in an ultra-compact micro chassis, the MLOC4 easily tucks behind crowded vehicle dashboards, factory amplifier racks, or center consoles. Its smart internal 60-Ohm load circuitry trick modern factory radios into detecting connected speakers, preventing chime mute errors, diagnostic fault codes, or audio cutouts typical when upgrading factory systems.

Signal-Sensing 12V Remote Turn-On & Independent Gain Adjustments

Eliminate the need to tap into ignition wires. The MLOC4 features audio signal-sensing technology that automatically detects incoming high-level audio signals and generates a stable $12ext{V}$ remote turn-on output to switch on your amplifiers. With 4 independent gain adjustment controls, installers can precisely calibrate front and rear channels to eliminate distortion and noise floor hiss.

The Worlds Smallest 4-Channel Smart Micro Line Output Converter!

Upgrade your factory car audio system without replacing your head unit. The Recoil MLOC4 is a professional-grade 4-channel line output converter (LOC) designed to convert your radio’s speaker-level output into clean, high-quality RCA signals for your aftermarket amplifiers.

Why choose the MLOC4?

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Why does the Recoil MLOC4 feature 60-Ohm load support?

A: Many modern vehicles (especially European and newer Asian models) use smart factory stereos that check speaker resistance upon power-up. If you disconnect factory speakers to add an amplifier, the radio detects open circuits and mutes output. The MLOC4’s built-in 60-Ohm load resistance tricks the factory system into seeing a normal speaker load, keeping all audio channels active.

Q: Can I use the MLOC4 to power both a 4-channel speaker amp and a subwoofer amp?

A: Yes! The MLOC4 converts 4 channels of speaker wires into 4 RCA outputs (Front Left/Right and Rear Left/Right). You can send Front/Rear signals to a 4-channel speaker amplifier or use the rear RCA outputs to feed a mono subwoofer amplifier.

Q: Where is the best place to install this micro line output converter?

A: Thanks to its ultra-compact micro form factor, the MLOC4 can be mounted directly behind the factory radio inside the dashboard cavity, behind interior kick panels, or adjacent to an OEM factory amplifier module in the trunk.
