Audiophile Engineering & High-Impact Performance

460W Peak Power Handling

Built to deliver high-energy performance without breaking a sweat. With a massive 460W Peak Power rating, this component kit offers the heavy-duty power headroom required to handle deep transients and explosive musical dynamics without clipping or distorting.

Dedicated External Crossover Networks

Keep your frequencies clean and perfectly routed. This kit features premium, external crossover networks that filter audio signals with precisionsending crisp, detailed highs strictly to the tweeters and full, authoritative mid-bass tones directly to the woofers. This advanced separation protects your drivers and eliminates muddy overlapping frequencies.

True Component Staging & Imaging

Unlike basic factory coaxial speakers that blast all frequencies at your feet, the NSA-CS1721 allows you to mount its independent tweeters high up on your dashboard or A-pillars. This custom orientation lifts the vocals to ear level, mimicking a live studio performance right across your dashboard.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What are the main benefits of a 6.75-inch component system over standard 6.5-inch speakers?

The slightly larger 6.75-inch frame design provides increased cone surface area over standard 6.5-inch speakers. This larger surface allows the mid-bass woofer to move more air, delivering a noticeably punchier low-end response and richer mid-range depth before your audio even hits a subwoofer.

2. Can I run these components directly off a stock factory head unit?

Yes. While the Nakamichi NSA-CS1721 is highly efficient and will deliver a massive performance leap over stock factory paper speakers on head unit power alone, adding an external 2-channel or 4-channel amplifier will unlock their true 460W peak power potential, creating room-shaking dynamics.

3. Where should I mount the separate tweeters?

For the absolute best acoustic imaging and soundstage realism, we highly recommend mounting the independent tweeters on your cars front door sail panels, factory A-pillars, or directly on the upper dashboard. This lifts the soundstage away from your legs and directs vocals straight toward your ears.

4. Why Choose the Nakamichi NSA-CS1721?

• Distortion-Free High Volume: Engineered with premium voice coils and heavy-flux motor structures, these speakers retain precise control over heavy bass tracks even when cranked up to high volume levels.

• Rigid, Long-Lasting Construction: The woofer cones are crafted from highly rigid materials engineered to resist flexing under heavy excursions, ensuring thousands of hours of crisp, clean playback.

• Clean OEM Upgrade Look: Designed to drop into standard 6.75-inch door locations across a wide variety of modern hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs with minimal or zero modification.
