Aura Car Audio Ac-1 Remote Controller

Product Overview

Fingertip DSP Control Right from the Driver’s Seat

Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) are the brain of any modern high-fidelity car audio system, but adjusting settings or switching audio sources while driving usually requires opening laptop software or smartphone apps. The Aura AC-1 Remote Controller brings total operational control right to your dashboard or center console. Featuring a crisp, high-visibility 2-inch LCD screen, the AC-1 puts real-time volume management, input selection, and sound profile switching directly at your fingertips.

Seamless Source Switching & Preset Recall

Whether you want to switch from high-level OEM head unit audio to high-resolution Optical, Bluetooth, or USB inputs, the AC-1 lets you toggle between audio streams with a single button press. Crucially, the controller allows drivers to instantly recall customized tuning presets saved on their DSP. Switch effortlessly between a driver-focused “Daily Commute” tuning profile, a wide-open soundstage for passengers, or a dedicated “High-Bass” preset without having to reconnect to tuning software.

Compact Profile with Generous Installation Reach

Engineered with a slim, ergonomic footprint measuring just 112mm x 49.5mm x 13mm, the Aura AC-1 integrates cleanly into any dashboard, center console cavity, or custom panel pod without cluttering your interior aesthetics. The controller includes a heavy-duty 5-meter extension cable, giving installers and DIY enthusiasts plenty of slack to execute clean, hidden wire routing through carpet channels from trunk-mounted DSP amplifiers straight up to the front cab.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Is the Aura AC-1 Remote Controller universal for all car DSP brands?

A: No, the AC-1 uses proprietary data communication pins designed specifically to interface with compatible Aura DSP processors and DSP amplifiers (such as the Aura Fireball 6.8 8-channel DSP amplifier series). Always check your processor’s controller port compatibility before purchasing.

Q: Can I use the AC-1 remote to adjust my subwoofer volume independently?

A: Yes! In addition to controlling master volume, the AC-1 allows you to navigate display modes to manage dedicated subwoofer output levels and switch between saved DSP scene modes on the fly.

Q: Is tuning software or a smartphone required to operate the AC-1 once installed?

A: No. While initial system tuning (such as 31-band EQ, crossovers, and time alignment) must be configured using a laptop or smartphone app, the AC-1 is designed for daily driving. Once your presets are saved to the DSP, the AC-1 handles all real-time volume adjustments, source switching, and preset toggling independently.

Q: How is the AC-1 remote controller powered?

A: The controller does not require separate power or ground splices. It draws low-voltage operating power directly from the connected DSP via the included 5-meter data cable.

Q: What is included inside the box with the AC-1 controller?

A: The package includes 1 x Aura AC-1 LCD Remote Controller unit, 1 x 5-Meter Connection Extension Cable, and an Instruction Manual.
