Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: What components are included inside the Malon Q8 Pro package?

A: This is a comprehensive front fog lamp overhaul sold as a matching pair. The package includes 2x Malon Q8 Pro 3-Inch Blue Quattro Lens Projector Pods, pre-wired connection pigtails, integrated digital control drivers, and standard mounting hardware.

Q: Does the “Blue Quattro Lens” alter the actual color of the beam on the road?

A: No, it does not. The blue effect is a specialized exterior lens coating that gives the projector glass an exotic tint when the vehicle is parked or the lights are switched off. When active, it projects its calibrated light cleanly onto the asphalt to ensure optimal safety and contrast.

Q: What is the difference between the Single Color and Tri-Color options?

A: The Single Color version throws one dedicated crisp light beam (typically pure white) for consistent daily driving. The Tri-Color option features three selectable color profiles in one bulb (typically pure white, warm white, and deep yellow). You can toggle between them using your factory fog light switch to match changing conditionsusing pure white for normal dark highways and yellow to pierce through dense fog or heavy rain.

Q: Do I need to buy separate HID ballasts or xenon gas bulbs to run this kit?

A: No. The Malon Q8 Pro relies on integrated solid-state LED technology. The high-efficiency light-emitting diodes, control electronics, and dual-beam shutters are completely self-contained within the aluminum projector casing, running straight off your vehicle’s standard 12V electrical system.

Q: Is this fog light kit a direct plug-and-play fit for my car?

A: While the system uses standard 3-inch circular dimensions, modern vehicles use proprietary bumper screw layouts. Depending on your car model (e.g., Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, or Toyota), you will likely need vehicle-specific ABS mounting brackets to secure these projectors properly inside your stock bumper slots.

Q: Are these projector pods fully waterproof?

A: Yes, absolutely. Because fog lights are positioned low on the bumper, they are continuously subjected to road spray and debris. The Malon Q8 Pro is meticulously sealed with high-tier automotive compounds to ensure a fully waterproof and dustproof construction, preventing moisture pooling during deep water wading or high-pressure washes.
