Vibromax Damping Sheets 2.8 MM ( 1 Sheet )

Product Overview

Transform Your Driving Experience

Say goodbye to road noise, panel rattles, and exhaust drone. The Vibromax 2.8mm Damping Sheet is a premium sound-deadening solution designed to give your vehicle a solid, luxury feel while significantly improving your in-car acoustic environment.

Premium Butyl & Aluminum Construction

Manufactured in Russia, each Vibromax sheet features a heavy-duty 2.8mm layer of butyl rubber fused with a 60-micron aluminum foil backing. This material is water-resistant, odorless, and highly flexible. It adheres securely to your car’s metal panels to absorb kinetic energy and block out external noise, holding up perfectly under extreme high and low temperatures.

Optimized Audio Performance

By eliminating panel resonance, Vibromax ensures that your car speakers perform at their absolute best. Instead of losing bass and midrange clarity to vibrating door frames, the sound energy is directed into the cabin, resulting in punchy bass and crystal-clear audio dynamics.

  Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Where should I install this damping sheet in my car?

A: For the best results, install Vibromax sheets on the bare metal surfaces of your car doors, roof, boot lid, and under the bonnet. Treating the inner and outer metal skins of the doors is highly recommended if you are upgrading your car audio speakers.

Q: Will this improve my aftermarket audio system?

A: Absolutely. By adding mass to the thin sheet metal of your car, the damping material stops the metal from flexing and vibrating. This provides a solid acoustic enclosure for your speakers, resulting in tighter mid-bass and a cleaner overall soundstage.

Q: Do I need a heat gun to install Vibromax sheets?

A: No, the butyl rubber compound used in Vibromax is flexible and adheres effortlessly to clean metal surfaces without the need for heat. Simply clean the panel and use a dedicated damping sheet roller to ensure a firm, air-free bond.

Q: Does one sheet cover an entire door?

A: A single 75 cm x 50 cm sheet covers a significant area, but standard car doors typically require 1.5 to 2 sheets per door to properly treat both the inner and outer metal skins.

Q: Will it melt or smell in high temperatures?

A: No. Vibromax is designed to withstand extreme automotive environments. The high-quality butyl formulation holds up exceptionally well under extreme high temperatures without melting or emitting unpleasant odors.
