Vextron XT60 Oval Car Speaker – High Performance Dual Cone Sound

Product Overview

The Vextron XT60 is a high-performance 6″x9″ oval car speaker pair designed to replace dull factory speakers and deliver rich, high-output audio across your vehicles rear tray panel. Delivering up to 520W Peak Power (125W RMS rated power handling), the XT60 series blends high efficiency with punchy acoustic output.

Rigid Carbon Mica Cone Construction

Built using a durable Carbon Mica cone material, the XT60 retains structural rigidity under high-volume playing conditions. This reduces driver distortion during heavy bass transients while reproducing warm midrange vocals and tight low-end response.

Dual-Cone Technology & High Sensitivity

With an acoustic efficiency rating of 92 dB (1W/1m), these speakers convert raw amplifier or head unit power into clean, room-filling sound effortlessly. The dual-cone configuration ensures seamless coverage across mid-bass and high frequencies without requiring complex external crossovers.

Designed for Parcel Tray & Custom Cutouts

Featuring standard 6×9 inch oval dimensions (23.6 cm x 16.4 cm), the XT60 is engineered primarily for rear parcel tray mount locations. RoHS certified for safety and manufacturing compliance, it serves as an immediate plug-and-play upgrade for hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs alike.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Do I need an external amplifier to run the Vextron XT60 speakers?

A: No. Thanks to their high 92 dB sensitivity rating, these speakers run efficiently directly off a factory stereo or aftermarket Android/touchscreen head unit. However, adding an external 2-channel or 4-channel amplifier will unlock their full 125W RMS power potential.

Q: Where are 6×9 oval speakers typically installed in a car?

A: 6×9 inch speakers are primarily designed for installation on the rear wooden parcel tray or factory rear deck cutouts. They can also fit into custom door panels designed for 6×9 oval drivers.

Q: What is the benefit of the Carbon Mica cone material?

A: Carbon Mica is both lightweight and rigid. This combination prevents the cone from flexing at higher volume levels, resulting in tighter low-frequency bass notes and clearer vocal performance.

Q: Does the package include mounting hardware and a user manual?

A: Yes, the box contains a pair of Vextron XT60 6×9 speakers along with an instruction and installation user manual.
