Key Features

Advanced Prism Series Technology

AES Prism Series products are new products launched in 2023. The TIR double prism direct white laser lens adopts 12 LED chips from Taiwan and 2 single chips from Osram. The high-beam input power reaches 75W. The maximum luminous flux reaches 700LM. Laser tube brand: Nichia. High beam illumination at a test distance of 3 meters reaches 38000LX.

TIR Lens Technology

It has become a trend to use LEDs as light sources instead of traditional light sources. However, LED light sources have the disadvantage of large light angles that cannot meet the requirements of projection display systems for collection and shaping. TIR means “Total Internal Reflection”, also known as total reflection, which improves the utilization rate of LED light energy. The TIR lens is made using the principle of total reflection to collect and process light. It is designed for penetrating concentrated light, and the tapered surface can collect and reflect all side light.

Efficient Heat Dissipation System

The heat dissipation system adopts an independent heat dissipation system for the high and low beam LED lamp beads to reduce temperature. Aviation aluminum heat dissipation material provides efficient cooling, more stable performance, and ensures the stability and life of the lamp beads.

Installation Wiring Details

• Black Wire: Low Beam –
• Red Wire: Low Beam +
• Green Wire: Low / High Beam +
• White Grey Wire: Electromagnetic Valve High Beam (+ -)

Cooling System

Turbo fans ensure effective heat dissipation and provide optimal heat protection and performance.

Reflector Performance

High temperature resistant reflector helps maintain strong light performance without blind zones and dark spots.

Long Lifespan

Long life span of 50000 hours. LED bulb lifespan is 6 times more than a halogen bulb, making it much more durable.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: What components are included inside the AES S500 / Way Maker S500 package?

A: This is a comprehensive front headlight upgrade package sold as a matching pair. It includes 2x AES S500 3-Inch Bi-LED Projector Lenses with pre-wired connector pigtails and integrated digital control drivers.

Q: What makes a “Double Reflector” projector superior to standard single-lens setups?

A: Standard projectors utilize a single reflector cup that often leaves dim zones or weak coverage at the edges of your view. The AES S500 features a double reflector design that uses a secondary mirror array to capture stray light rays, packing them tightly into the main beam path. This creates a much denser center hotspot and a smoother, more uniform spread of light across 5 to 6 traffic lanes.

Q: Do I need to purchase separate HID xenon bulbs or external ballasts to run this kit?

A: No. The AES S500 uses integrated Bi-LED solid-state technology. The high-intensity light emitting diodes, double reflectors, and cooling mechanisms are entirely self-contained inside the projector assembly itself. You do not need xenon gas bulbs or high-voltage external ballasts.

Q: Is this kit a direct drop-in plug-and-play installation for my car?

A: While the system features an adaptable housing design, retrofitting full projector lenses requires safely opening your car’s headlight assemblies (unsealing the clear outer lens cover from the back housing). Because this involves specialized heat tools and precise optical alignment, professional installation at an experienced car retrofitting or detailing shop is highly recommended.

Q: Does this high-power 66W kit feature an instant start or a warm-up delay?

A: It features a true instant-start function. Unlike older HID systems that take 10 to 15 seconds to heat up the xenon gas to full brightness, this solid-state Bi-LED kit delivers full, high-lux power the exact millisecond you turn on your headlights.
