Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Do I need an external amplifier to run the Blaupunkt BGx 66.2 speakers?

A: No, these speakers are specifically designed with high sensitivity (89dB) to run efficiently directly off your stock car stereo, factory touchscreen unit, or aftermarket head unit.

Q: Will the BGx 66.2 fit standard 6.5-inch door speaker openings?

A: Yes, the BGx 66.2 uses a standard 166mm (6.5-inch) frame size with multi-hole mounting patterns and a shallow 1.693-inch mounting depth, making it compatible with almost all vehicles featuring 6.5-inch door slots.

Q: What is included in the box?

A: The package contains a pair of Blaupunkt BGx 66.2 6.5-inch 2-way coaxial speakers, protective speaker grilles, connecting wire leads, and mounting hardware.

Q: Are these coaxial or component speakers?

A: These are 2-way coaxial speakers, meaning the high-frequency tweeter is mounted directly in the center of the woofer cone, making installation quick and simple in a single slot.
