Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: What is the exact video resolution when both cameras are connected?

A: When running the dual-camera setup, the front camera records in 2K resolution (2560 x 1440 at 30FPS) while the rear camera records simultaneously in 1080p Full HD (1920 x 1080). If you choose to disconnect the rear unit and run the front camera on its own, it can scale all the way up to 4K Ultra HD (2880 x 1440).

Q: Which mobile application do I use to download videos to my smartphone?

A: The DHC C01 integrates natively with the Kacam application, which is free to download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Simply activate the Wi-Fi hotspot using the physical buttons on the side of the dashcam and pair your phone to manage your data.

Q: What kind of memory card should I purchase for this dashcam?

A: The C01 supports storage capacities up to 256GB. Because 4K and 2K video streams write massive blocks of data continuously, you must use a high-end Class 10 U3 microSD card. Lower-tier storage cards will cause recording stutters, file corruption, or device errors.

Q: Does the loop recording feature mean I have to manually clear out the card when it fills up?

A: Not at all. The loop recording function splits your driving time into continuous 1, 3, or 5-minute clips. When your 256GB card hits its limit, the system automatically starts deleting the oldest, un-flagged videos to make room for the new drive. The only files it will never delete are clips locked manually by you or triggered by the G-Sensor emergency impact detector.

Q: Does this kit come with a warranty?

A: Yes! The DHC C01 includes a 12-month brand warranty covering manufacturing defects, giving you reliable product support and total peace of mind.
