JBL Club WS1200 Club WS1200 Subwoofer

Product Overview

JBL latest Club subwoofers offer incredible installation flexibility. Their low-profile design allows them to fit perfectly into even the most shallow of enclosures great for todays compact cars. Polypropylene woofer cones deliver exceptional bass response at frequencies as low as 27Hz. But what makes these subs really stand out is their Harman-proprietary SSITM (Selectable Smart Impedance), which allows the subwoofer to present the amplifier with either a 2 or 4 ohm load at the flip of a switch.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: How does the SSI (Selectable Smart Impedance) switch work?

A: The SSI switch is located directly on the terminal block of the subwoofer. Sliding the switch lets you select between a 2-ohm or 4-ohm load. This feature eliminates the need to re-wire internal connections when configuring multi-sub setups or swapping amplifiers.

Q: Can this shallow-mount subwoofer fit under truck seats?

A: Yes! With a mounting depth of only 3-5/16 inches (83 mm), the JBL Club WS1200 is specifically engineered for tight truck enclosures, under-seat mounts, and shallow hatchback storage compartments.

Q: What size amplifier is recommended for the JBL Club WS1200?

A: We recommend pairing this subwoofer with a monoblock amplifier that supplies between 200 and 300 Watts RMS into either a 2-ohm or 4-ohm load, depending on your SSI switch setting.
