Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: What exactly is included inside this package?

A: This is a physical installation hardware package sold as a matching set. It includes 2x Custom 3-Inch ABS Fog Lamp Mounting Brackets (1x Left Side and 1x Right Side) tailored to fit the Kia Seltos.

Q: Why do I need a specialized bracket like this to change my fog lights?

A: Modern cars no longer use standard rectangular or round brackets inside the bumper. The Kia Seltos features proprietary, asymmetrical factory mounting screws. Standard aftermarket projectors come with basic generic flat brackets that will not align with your bumper slots. This specialized ABS bracket acts as an adapter, matching the car’s mounting tabs on the outside while gripping the 3-inch projector on the inside.

Q: Which aftermarket projector brands can be mounted into this bracket?

A: This adapter is mapped around the industry-standard 3.0-inch circular footprint. It is universally compatible with almost all major performance lighting brands, including iPHCAR, Aozoom, AES, and GTR 3.0-inch fog projector lenses.

Q: Does installing this bracket require cutting or drilling into my car’s bumper?

A: No. The exterior mounting tabs are engineered to line up directly with the pre-existing factory screw holes inside the Seltos bumper shroud. It uses your vehicle’s original mounting layout, keeping the installation clean and non-destructive.

Q: Can this plastic bracket handle heavy heat from a 55W HID projector setup?

A: Yes, absolutely. The kit is molded using highly resilient, automotive-grade ABS plastic. This specialized material features excellent structural thermal resistance, meaning it will not soften, warp, or crack under the heat generated by high-power 55W HID ballasts or intensive Bi-LED drivers.
