Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Is the Morel Kinetic 602C a coaxial or a component speaker?

A: The Kinetic 602C is a 2-way coaxial speaker set, meaning the high-frequency tweeter is mounted directly on a bridge over the main woofer cone. (If you prefer separate woofers and tweeters for your front stage, check out the Morel Kinetic 602 Component System).

Q: Do I need an external power amplifier to run these speakers?

A: No, an external amplifier is not required. The Kinetic 602C is efficient enough to deliver clear, dynamic audio when connected directly to a factory or aftermarket touchscreen head unit. However, adding an external amplifier will allow them to play louder with tighter mid-bass performance.

Q: Where are coaxial speakers typically installed in a car?

A: While coaxial speakers can be used in all four doors for a simple upgrade, they are most commonly installed in the rear door panels or rear deck to provide full-range fill for back-seat passengers while component speakers handle the front stage.

Q: What is included in the box?

A: The package includes 1 pair (2 speakers) of Morel Kinetic 602C 6.5-inch coaxial speakers and standard mounting hardware.
