About the Maximo Series

Morel invested the same passion, engineering, and philosophy that earned its car audio speakers countless awards into the development of the Maximo line. As a result, the Maximo Series inherits several of the companys innovative technologies.

Consisting of 2-way component systems and coaxial speakers, the Maximo Series is Morels solution for listeners who want a superb-sounding music system that can be easily installed into factory speaker locations and integrated with factory head unit power or amplification, all at a great value.

With Morels quality craftsmanship, the Maximo Coax speakers deliver the powerful sound car audio enthusiasts seek without the ear-fatiguing harshness often found in similarly priced speakers.

Maximo Coax Tweeter

The foundation of the Maximo tweeter is built on the same design principles as Morels high-end tweeters. Each coaxial tweeter uses a proprietary-coated soft textile dome and a powerful neodymium magnet motor. This design suppresses distortion while optimizing power handling and off-axis performance, delivering the sweet and warm signature sound that Morel is known for.

Soft Dome Design

The shape of the soft dome and its proprietary coating optimize off-axis performance while minimizing distortion, increasing power handling, and improving tonal and dynamic response.

19 mm (0.8-Inch) Voice Coil and Powerful Neodymium Motor

The large-format voice coil improves power handling and efficiency while providing excellent control for detailed sound reproduction.

Wide Dispersion

The carefully designed built-in phase guide helps control the dispersion pattern for superb off-axis response that minimizes high-frequency losses.

Maximo Coax Woofer

Efficiency, compact size, and versatile mounting are key strengths of the Maximo coax, starting with the woofer. At its core is an ultra-high-grade ferrite magnet that allows the design to be up to 35% smaller than standard ferrite-driven motors. This enables a shallow mounting depth for easy installation in tight spaces.

Compact Design and Versatile Basket

A shallow mounting depth and versatile mounting options allow the Maximo coaxial speakers to fit in most vehicles without modification.

25 mm (1-Inch) Voice Coil

The larger voice coil provides excellent power handling and dynamic low-frequency response.

Acudamp-Coated Paper Cone

The Acudamp-coated paper cone reduces cone distortion for higher power handling while improving weather protection.

Butyl Rubber Surround

The FEA computer-designed surround remains completely linear for excellent speaker cone control. Butyl is also an ideal surround material known for durability and long-term performance.

Computer-Optimized Cone

The computer-optimized cone ensures clean, linear movement during low-frequency reproduction, delivering increased bass dynamics.

Built-In Crossover

High-Grade Film Capacitors

High-grade film capacitors are used in the built-in tweeter crossover for pure, uncolored sound reproduction with impressive clarity.
