Pioneer TS-WX306B 12-inch Bass Enclosure (Black)

Product Overview

The Pioneer TS-WX306B is a plug-and-play 12-inch ($30ext{ cm}$) pre-enclosed sealed subwoofer system designed to give your car audio setup immediate, deep, and articulate low-end impact. Delivering 350 Watts RMS (1300 Watts Max Power), this pre-built enclosure eliminates the hassle of designing and constructing a custom boxdelivering optimized acoustic performance right out of the box.

IMPP Composite Seamless Cone

The subwoofer utilizes Pioneers proprietary Injection-Molded Polypropylene (IMPP) composite seamless cone. This rigid yet lightweight material resists cone flex under high sound pressure levels, preventing distortion and delivering accurate, tight bass response across the entire low-frequency spectrum.

Voice Coil Cooling System (VCCS) & Sealed Box Dynamics

To handle high input power continuously without overheating, the driver is built with an advanced Voice Coil Cooling System (VCCS) that channels heat away from the core motor structure. The driver is factory-housed inside a compact, heavy-duty carpeted sealed enclosure with integrated protection bars, making it durable and compact enough to fit neatly into hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Do I need a separate amplifier to power the Pioneer TS-WX306B?

A: Yes. The TS-WX306B is a passive enclosure system. You will need a monoblock or 2-channel bridged amplifier capable of supplying between 250 and 400 Watts RMS into a 4-ohm load.

Q: What is the main sound difference between this sealed enclosure and a ported sub box?

A: A sealed enclosure like the TS-WX306B produces tighter, punchier, and more precise acoustic bass. It excels at fast bass response (ideal for rock, metal, pop, and electronic music) while taking up less total trunk space than a ported system.

Q: Will this sub enclosure fit in small cars or compact hatchbacks?

A: Yes! With a width of $491ext{ mm}$ ($19.3ext{ inches}$) and a depth of $329ext{ mm}$ ($12.9ext{ inches}$), the compact footprint is engineered specifically to save cargo space in hatchback trunks, SUV cargo areas, and sedan boots.
