Recoil ALOC2 2-Channel Adjustable Line Output Converter with Remote Turn-On Trigger

Product Overview

The Recoil ALOC2 2-Channel Adjustable Line Output Converter (LOC) is an essential integration tool for adding aftermarket amplifiers or powered subwoofers to factory (OEM) car stereo systems. Designed to bridge high-level speaker outputs with low-level RCA amplifier inputs, the ALOC2 converts speaker-level signals into clean, low-noise RCA line outputs without replacing your original factory head unit.

Integrated Signal-Sensing Remote Turn-On Trigger

One of the most frustrating aspects of installing an amplifier on a factory head unit is finding a reliable $12ext{V}$ switched ignition line to turn on the amp. The Recoil ALOC2 solves this with a built-in signal-sensing remote turn-on trigger. It automatically detects audio signals coming from your factory radio and instantly generates a $12ext{V}$ remote switch-on signal for your amplifier, shutting off automatically when audio stops.

Independent Gain Matching & Clean Signal Processing

To ensure optimal audio performance and prevent unwanted distortion, the ALOC2 features independent left and right adjustable gain controls. This allows installers to precisely match the output voltage from the line converter to the input sensitivity of your amplifier, preventing clipped signals and maximizing dynamic range.

Seamlessly Add an Amplifier to Any Factory Stereo!

The Recoil ALOC2 is the perfect solution for adding a 2-channel amplifier or a subwoofer to your stock car audio system. This new-model adjustable line output converter takes your factory speaker signals and transforms them into high-fidelity RCA outputs while providing a convenient remote turn-on trigger.

Key Features:

• Adjustable Output Levels: Features a stereo gain control to perfectly match your radio’s output with your amplifier’s input sensitivity for the best sound performance.

• Remote Turn-On Trigger: Automatically detects the audio signal and generates a 12V remote turn-on signal for your amplifier, eliminating the need to find a switched power source.

• Noise Isolation: Utilizes an advanced audio transformer for superior noise isolation and to eliminate ground loop hum.

• High-Fidelity Audio: Delivers 0.5 dB linearity from 20Hz to 20,000 Hz, ensuring your music sounds exactly as it should.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Why do I need the Recoil ALOC2 when installing an amplifier with a factory radio?

A: Most stock factory radios do not have RCA preamp outputs or a $12ext{V}$ remote turn-on lead. The Recoil ALOC2 taps into your factory speaker wires, converts the high-voltage speaker signal into a low-voltage RCA signal, and generates the necessary $12ext{V}$ remote trigger wire to turn your amplifier on.

Q: How does the auto remote turn-on trigger work?

A: The ALOC2 continuously monitors the speaker input wires. As soon as you switch on your factory radio and audio plays, the device senses the voltage/audio signal and outputs a $12ext{V}$ trigger signal along its remote lead to turn on your amplifier automatically.

Q: Can I use the Recoil ALOC2 to add a mono subwoofer amplifier?

A: Yes! The 2-channel RCA output on the ALOC2 is ideal for feeding left and right audio signals into a mono block subwoofer amplifier or a 2-channel full-range amplifier.
