AES GS EB 55 Watt Ballast With Iphcar L-shape 6000k Bulb [pair] H8-11

Product Overview

Supercharge your night visibility and modernise your vehicle’s frontend aesthetic with the premium AES GS 55-Watt Ballast with iPH L-Shape 6000K HID Bulb Pair. Engineered specifically for drivers demanding maximum illumination density without compromising electrical stability, this complete high-intensity system combines heavy-duty 55W digital ballasts with uniquely configured iPH L-Shape xenon bulbs optimized for projector lens housings and tightly packed headlight enclosures.

The heart of this upgrade setup is a matched pair of 55-Watt digital AC ballasts. Unlike cheaper DC alternatives that flicker, delay during cold starts, and shorten bulb lifespan, these advanced AC digital modules regulate incoming engine voltage with pinpoint accuracy. The result is rapid arc ignition, seamless light stabilization, and consistent output under heavy electrical load. The system drives the specialized iPH L-Shape bulbs to project a distinct 6000K Cool White light spectrum. This precise Kelvin rating washes dark roads in a crisp, diamond-white hue that highlights lane markers, road hazards, and signs with extreme contrast while maintaining a sharp, modern look.

Built to withstand severe under-hood conditions, the system is wrapped in a weather-sealed, shockproof architecture. The rugged ballast casings feature an advanced thermal profile acting as high-efficiency heat sinks to disperse heat efficiently. Simultaneously, the signature L-shape bulb base design reduces the mounting depth footprint behind the headlight, making it an excellent drop-in match for premium projector installations where standard straight-base bulbs might cause clearance issues.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: What individual items are included inside this specific AES GS & iPH bundle?

A: This is a comprehensive dual-sided kit. The box contains 2x 55W Digital AC Ballasts, 2x iPH L-Shape 6000K Xenon Bulbs, integrated high-voltage output cables, plug-and-play wiring leads, and essential mounting plates.

Q: What is the primary functional advantage of the iPH L-Shape bulb design?

A: Standard HID bulbs have a straight base that can stick out significantly, sometimes hitting vehicle frame elements, battery trays, or dust caps. The iPH L-shape bulb positions the wiring output at a 90-degree angle, drastically reducing the required clearance behind the headlight unitmaking it ideal for tight engine bays and custom retrofits.

Q: Will this 6000K lighting kit cause a warning light to appear on my dashboard?

A: The 55W digital ballasts draw a power load closely matching standard factory halogen circuits to avoid errors on most vehicle networks. However, for modern cars with advanced, highly sensitive CANBUS vehicle health systems (such as many European models), you may need to add a pair of plug-and-play CANBUS decoders (sold separately) to suppress dashboard warnings.

Q: What makes a 6000K color temperature different from standard factory headlights?

A: Factory halogens sit at a dull, yellow 3200K. This kit features a 6000K rating, providing a crisp daylight white beam with a subtle hint of cool blue. This tint sharpens contrast against asphalt and road lines, minimizing late-night driver fatigue.

Q: Is wire stripping or soldering required to complete the physical installation?

A: No. The system utilizes keyed, snap-locking connectors that link directly to your car’s existing factory headlight power harness for a quick, plug-and-play electrical hookup.
