Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Do I need a separate monoblock amplifier to power the Vextron F8X?

A: No. The Vextron F8X is an active bass enclosure, meaning the amplifier is already built into the cabinet. You only need to run power, ground, turn-on, and audio input wires directly to the enclosure.

Q: Can I connect the Vextron F8X to a factory OEM touchscreen or head unit?

A: Yes! You can connect it directly using RCA cables if your aftermarket head unit has sub-outs, or use a High-to-Low Line Output Converter (LOC) if connecting to a factory stock car radio.

Q: Where is the best place to install this active enclosure?

A: Due to its compact footprint ($440ext{ mm} imes 325ext{ mm} imes 258ext{ mm}$), it fits neatly in sedan trunks, hatchback cargo compartments, or behind the rear seats of compact SUVs and crossovers.
