Morel MPS-R1 Premium Wired Remote Subwoofer Level Control for Morel MPS & MPD Amplifiers

Command Your Bass, Own the Drive: Effortless Subwoofer Control at Your Fingertips

Stop pulling over or leaning into your boot just to adjust your amplifier’s settings. The Morel MPS-R1 Wired Remote Subwoofer Level Control is an essential dashboard accessory engineered exclusively for Morel high-performance amplifiers. Designed to bring the ultimate acoustic balance directly to the driver’s seat, this heavy-duty remote dial gives you instantaneous, real-time authority over your car soundstage’s low-end response, ensuring your subwoofers thump exactly how you want them to for every single track.

Performance Engineering & Key Features

Smooth Tactile Click Adjustment

The MPS-R1 is built with an incredibly satisfying, highly precise tactile clicking volume pot. Each incremental turn provides a solid physical response, making it entirely effortless to fine-tune your bass levels by feel while keeping your eyes securely glued to the road.

Substantial 20 dB Control Range

Whether you are craving massive, trunk-flexing low notes or pulling up to a quiet residential neighborhood and want to lower the acoustic presence entirely, the MPS-R1 provides a massive 20 dB adjustment window. It ranges from full-throttle bass extension right down to nearly invisible subsonic presence.

Flawless, Interruption-Free Wired Integration

Wireless remotes can introduce lag and require frequent battery replacements. The Morel MPS-R1 utilizes a hard-wired connection that draws instant power straight from your amplifier. This setup guarantees continuous, zero-latency bass modulation on the fly without a single drop in signal fidelity.

Discreet Under-Dash Surface Mount

Featuring an ultra-sleek, compact black composite housing, this remote module sits cleanly underneath your cars dashboard console, inside the glove compartment, or flat on your central armrest rack. Its discreet profile blends seamlessly into any modern vehicle interior without disrupting your factory styling.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I use this remote dial with other non-Morel branded amplifiers?

No. The internal resistor matrix, 3.5mm-to-RJ25 pinout mapping, and voltage-drop curves are specifically mapped out to sync only with Morels integrated microprocessor circuits found inside the MPS and MPD amplifier platforms. It will not function on generic amplifiers.

2. Do I need to run a separate power line for this bass knob?

Not at all. The corded electric setup draws all the necessary reference voltage directly from your amplifier’s data interface ports. Just plug one end into the amp and the other into the remote knob using the included cable, and it works immediately.

3. Where is the best spot to mount the MPS-R1 knob inside my car?

Most car audio enthusiasts mount it directly under the drivers side dashboard near the steering column or neatly inside the center console panel. The integrated side-mounting flanges and self-tapping screws allow you to bolt it down onto any hard plastic panel smoothly.
