Nippon RPAS- 600 Rear View Mirror with LED-Night Vision Camera

Product Overview

Seamless Rearview Monitoring Upgrade

Take the stress out of tight parallel parking spaces and chaotic city reverse maneuvers. The Nippon RPAS 600 Rear View Mirror with LED Night Vision Camera is a high-performance Reverse Parking Assist System (RPAS) designed to bring clear rearview sightlines to virtually any vehicle. The central hub of the system features a sleek, high-transparency monitor that clips directly over your existing factory interior rearview mirror, functioning as a standard reflective glass surface during normal driving and instantly transforming into a vivid parking display the moment you shift into reverse.

Illuminated LED Night Vision Intelligence

Navigating dark parking garages or unlit residential alleys can be hazardous without proper coverage. The RPAS 600 system addresses this challenge with a rugged, bumper-mountable exterior camera system flanked by high-intensity integrated LED night vision illuminators. When the reverse gear is engaged, these specialized LEDs activate automatically, casting bright, crisp illumination over hazards, curbs, and low-profile objects behind your vehicle, delivering a highly visible feed in pitch-black conditions.

Universal Integration & Parking Grid Assistance

Engineered for reliable all-weather endurance, the low-profile reverse camera features a robust waterproof housing designed to survive intense monsoon downpours and high-pressure car washes. The monitor displays dynamic parking grid guidelines across the video feed, allowing drivers to accurately gauge physical distance to obstacles at a quick glance. With its universal clip-on architecture, the system installs cleanly without requiring permanent dashboard alterations or replacing your factory windshield mount mirror stalk.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Does the Nippon RPAS 600 monitor screen stay on continuously while I am driving?

A: No, it does not. The integrated video display panel is engineered with an automated power trigger wired into your vehicles reverse light circuit. During standard forward driving, the screen remains completely invisible, allowing the unit to act as a normal reflective rearview mirror. The screen activates exclusively when you shift into reverse gear.

Q: Do I need to drill holes into my windshield or remove my factory mirror to install this monitor?

A: Not at all. The monitor features a spring-loaded, heavy-duty clip-on framework on its back panel. It simply snaps securely right over your car’s existing factory-installed interior rearview mirror frame, saving you from complex structural modifications.

Q: Is the camera weather-resistant enough to handle high-pressure automated car washes?

A: Yes. The Nippon reverse camera module is built with an airtight, moisture-proof housing engineered to handle typical outdoor exposure, heavy monsoon rains, and automated car washes without fogging up or suffering electrical shorts.

Q: Can this parking assist system be installed on any vehicle make and model?

A: Yes, the Nippon RPAS 600 operates on a universal 12V DC platform, making it fully compatible with the electrical systems of virtually all passenger cars, hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs on the market.

Q: Does the camera record footage like a standard dash cam?

A: No. The RPAS 600 is designed strictly as a live Reverse Parking Assist System to provide a real-time visual safety feed while backing up. It does not contain a built-in DVR recorder or an internal MicroSD storage slot for saving historical road footage.
