Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Is the Recoil ZMPG4 a fused or non-fused distribution block?

A: The ZMPG4 is a non-fused distribution block. It is designed primarily as a ground collection block or as a primary power splitter. If used for power splitting, ensure inline fuse holders are installed on individual output lines to protect smaller gauge wires, or place an appropriately rated main fuse near the battery.

Q: Can I use this block for both power and ground at the same time?

A: No, a single ZMPG4 block distributes one polarity at a time. You will need two separate ZMPG4 blocks if you want to set up both a centralized 4-way power distribution hub and a 4-way ground hub for your multi-amp system.

Q: Do I need wire reducers to connect smaller 8 AWG wire to the outputs?

A: No. The output terminals are stepped to fit both 4 AWG and 8 AWG wires directly without needing additional adapter sleeves.
