Scosche Wiring Kit 6AWG KPA6CCSD

Product Overview

The Scosche KPA6CCSD 6AWG Amplifier Installation Wiring Kit provides all the heavy-duty cabling, noise-rejecting interconnects, and circuit safety hardware required to install a monoblock or multi-channel power amplifier into your vehicle.

High-Current 6-Gauge Power & Ground Cables

Engineered to deliver clean, uninhibited current to medium-to-high power amplifiers, the kit features a heavy-duty 6AWG power wire paired with a matching ground cable. High strand counts ensure maximum conductivity and cable flexibility when routing through tight firewall grommets and cabin trim panels.

Noise-Rejecting Twisted Pair RCA Interconnects

To prevent annoying alternator whine and engine buzz from entering your sound system, the kit includes 2-channel twisted-pair RCA interconnect cables. The twisted-pair geometry rejects electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) to keep the audio signal pristine from head unit to amp.

Complete Circuit Safety & Installation Hardware

Protect your vehicle’s electrical charging system and amplifier from short circuits. The Scosche KPA6CCSD includes an in-line fuse holder with a high-current fuse, remote turn-on trigger wire, ring terminals, spade connectors, and wire ties for a neat, professional-grade installation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: What power level amplifier is a 6AWG wiring kit suited for?

A: A 6AWG wiring kit like the Scosche KPA6CCSD is ideal for medium-to-high power car audio installations, typically supporting amplifiers drawing up to 600W to 1000W RMS depending on wire length and current draw.

Q: Why is a twisted-pair RCA cable important in an amp wiring kit?

A: Cars are full of electrical noise generated by alternators, fuel pumps, and computers. Twisted-pair RCA cables actively cancel out electromagnetic noise picked up along the cable run, preventing engine whine or buzzing through your speakers.

Q: Does this kit include everything required to hook up my amplifier?

A: Yes, the KPA6CCSD is a complete wiring kit containing the main power cable, ground wire, RCA audio cable, remote turn-on lead, in-line fuse holder, ring terminals, and mounting hardware.
